The Evolution of our work environment
It has been a rough year and a half for many businesses, employees, and customers. We are hit with a new reality that many employees desire to work from home or come to the office a couple of days a week. How will this new work environment affect the overall productivity of our businessed and impact clients needs?
Not prioritizing our relationships with employees , vendors and customer will give an advantage to our competitors. When we dont address the needs of our employees we are left empty handed as our valuable talent finds a new employeer that can be more accomodating.
As the price of raw materials increases, the lack of availability of many products, and not having enough employees to run operations successfully we find that we must provide new inventive ways to reach clients and maintain the dedication to providing excellence through our businesses.
How can a small business handle the ever-changing dynamics of a new work environment? We must emphasize in providing innovative ways to operate
in a virtual environment. Using the everchanging technology to our advantage. Many of our clients have a smartphone, computers that we can do zoom calls, we might also take advantage of various social media platforms that we can use.
Yes, we can use the dreaded social media to our advantage to keep up with clients and given them another tool to know us and our company goals.
Keeping the clients in the loop of new products availability and letting them know we are available when they are.
I find that keeping good communication on a regular basis with my clients has allowed me to stay relevant to their ever-changing needs.
Remember always that whether we're in a virtual office or a brick and mortar we must focus on keeping the dynamics of our relationship alive.
